903 Matchbox Twenty Selling Their Upcoming Concert Recordings on USB WristbandsWe’ve seen musicians release their music on USB keys, but never on a USB wristband. There is no question that in order to stay afloat these days, you have to be creative and figure out different new distribution methods for your music, and Matchbox Twenty just might be on to something with these wrist straps. For each of their upcoming concerts on their upcoming tour there will be a USB wristband available to purchase for $30 with that show’s recordings. Afterwards you can burn the MP3 files that are on the wristband on to a CD or transfer them on to your MP3 player. With 30+ shows lined up, we think that some Matchbox Twenty fans out there is about to go broke.

What a rip off! Ordered a wristband almost 7 weeks ago, no response to any of my emails but eventually arrived today. It has nothing on it!

You have to contact them and they will send you an electronic version of the concert!?!?!? 35USD for a cheap and nasty writband with nothing on and then they make you do the work putting the files on yourself!! (If I ever get them!)

MB20 should be ashamed of themselves.
