Memorex’s MMP8551 MP3 Player Looks Like a Round iPod Shuffle
Memorex’s MMP8551 kind of resembles the 2G shuffle in the way that it is minimalistic, and that it also lacks a display. But instead of a rectangular shape, the MMP8551 is round and circular. Spec wise, the MMP8551 holds just 512MB of memory and it can play WMA and DRMed WMAs as well as MP3 files. Measuring “2.3″ x 2.3″ x .8 inches, it’s actually also significantly bigger than the shuffle. Did we say it kind of looked like the shuffle? Rather, it’s the Shuffles’ long lost cousin that ran away because it couldn’t get a long with his kin who were all too square.
