Our understanding that Swiss Army products have always been items that are the epitome of being practical. That is why their SwissMemory Prestige series threw us for a loop. Albeit quite lovely, the sterling silver, gold/diamond, yellow gold, white gold and yellow gold choices are incredibly expensive, thus making them very unpractical in our opinion. Because, really $3,200 for a 1GB USB key that doubles as a Swiss Army is anything but practical, even if it is made of gold. And then there is also the gold/diamond version that retails for $6,000. Aren’t Swiss Army tools used to cut, screw and do all sorts of dirty and grimy work? So why would you want diamonds on that sort of tool? See what we mean by being totally unpractical.
