The problem with a large disk machine from the CD perspective has been that you've only really got numbers to figure out where things are. Disk numbers and track numbers. If you have to manually enter disk information, it's not going to happen every time, and once disks are loaded with no useful information, or something like the titles built into some of the disks I've seen, you won't be able to figure out how to find the movie you want to watch right now.
