Hulu to Offer Free Ad-Supported NBC & Fox TV Shows Online
Even though iTunes charges for it, and we admit to having purchased it here and there, we think it’s a sin to have to pay for television shows. Especially when we shell out so much every month for cable. We don’t mind sitting through the ads if we have to, we just don’t think we should have to pay for a TV show that we’re watching on our computer. ABC currently has a wonderful online video service on its web site. Many a time we’ve watched Lost in HD on their site when the Tivo messed up. Now NBC and Fox are joining up together to create a service called Hulu. Hulu is currently in beta and isn’t opened up to everyone, but the service does offers TV shows from Fox, NBC, Bravo, Fuel TV, FX, Sci Fi, Style, Sundance, and Oxygen. That includes the Simpsons, 24, and Heroes just by the way. We can’t wait till Hulu gets out of beta and we’re happy to see services like this come to fruition, but we can’t help but wish there was just one online service for all the different networks. A girl can dream….
