The process is a lot less complicated than the other tape to MP3 solutions you might have read about that involve cables. The Ion Dual Ripping Cassette Deck retails for $149 and works with both PCs and Mac. The simple to use Audacity software is also bundled with the package.

    Does this copy from tape to mp3 in real time or does it do it very fast say in half the time?
