Well we have come across alarm clocks with iPod docks, BBQ’s with iPod docks, even a toilet paper dispenser with an iPod dock, and now there is a LCD TV with one. Which out of all of these, I think makes the most sense finally. JVC is the innovative giant behind this latest launch which many now probably are hitting themselves saying “geez that seems so obvious why didn’t I think of that?!” What is being called the TeleDock is available on the JVC-P series of LCD TV’s. The sizes range from 32 to 52 inches and will even boost a 1080P resolution on one the models.
When the iPod is docked you will be able to automatically display the content of your iPod by controlling it with your TV remote. It’s hard to say what the quality will be since the video resolution on the ipod isn’t limited and we haven’t seen a demonstration yet. There is no pricing available yet for the LCD but I’m sure they will be the talk of your next geeky dinner party if you happen to snag one.
