1. The wheel has stopped working! This wheel controls volume and list scrolling. I don’t exercise with this, it doesn’t get banged around. So, with light use, it’s pooped out.

2. It *does* do playlists, but you have to create the playlist on your computer and load it to player.

3. Mine has frozen occasionally. I just wait for the battery to wear down – by the end of the day it shuts down and fixes itself. Not ideal, but not a huge issue for me.

This mp3 player is acceptable as a low-budget player, maybe. I’m looking for a new one now, and I think I’m going to put in a bit more money so it’ll last longer!

By the way, Sarah Palin should never be VP.

Shes:
1. Against all forms of abortion including due to rape or incest.
2. Says that the Iraq war is God’s will.
3. Says everyone should own any gun or machine gun they want.
4. Does not believe at all in evolution.

This is what we don’t want in Washington.

1. A poor record: Her only political experience has been a few years as mayor of a small town in Alaska and less than two years as governor of that state. Her record wasn’t so great: the small town she left behind is now in financial ruin.
2. She has no experience with national level politics. At the time of this posting, many of her views on national policy issues were unknown simply because she is so inexperienced that she hasn’t even made public statements about them. Presidential history scholars believe she may be “the most inexperienced person on a major party ticket in modern history.”
3. She has no foreign policy experience. None.
4. Iraq War? Our country is in the midst of a war, and Palin’s son is going to fight in that war. However, Salon.com reports that she hasn’t even given much thought to the Iraq War, and has no clear opinions about it. Great.
5. She is a creationist, and she wants “creation science” to be taught in public schools.
6. She doesn’t believe in man-made global warming. Maybe that’s why she supports drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge?
7. Not only does she think the government should be telling people who they can and cannot marry, she also thinks that same sex couples should be denied benefits given to straight couples.
8. Palin has been accused of abusing her power as Alaska governor to try to get her ex-brother-in-law fired as a state trooper. An investigation is underway.
9. She has messed up views on wildlife protection. Enivornmentalists are appalled by her support of a $150-per-wolf bounty program. She’s also supported the use of government money to educate people about how great it is to shoot bears and wolves, and she doesn’t want the polar bear to make it onto the endangered species list.
10. Even if they aren’t true, rumors about her pretending to be pregnant to cover up her teenage daughter’s accidental pregnancy are not going to help her image.
11. Ninja editing: Her Wikipedia entry needed to be cleaned up before the public announcement that she was McCain’s VP pick.
12. She has no clue about the role of the Vice President.
13. It is quite clear she was chosen just because of her gender (most Republicans have never even heard of her), and she’s being used as a trick by the McCain campaign to gain some of Hillary Clinton’s supporters.

Why the hell do they put this crap on the market, when they screw up all the time. Freezing, not mac compatibe, Dudley Doright french canadian customer service bitch who hangs up on you as soon as you start complaining!

Why the hell does playing your music on an mp3 player have to be so fucking complicated?

Not worth it anymore. I give up. And don’t tell me to get an ipod. You can’t take music off the thing. You can only use itunes music.

I am pissed with technology…. especially Insignia, which promises you the world and then, lets you down like the Bush administration’s entire 8 years. By the way, vote for McCain and be prepared for #1 the return of the draft, and #2 perpetual war. as well as #3 no alternative energy policy and #4 the entire USA economy going down the toilet as the Republican agenda of destroying the lower and middle class continues.

And, while were at it, why is it that all Republicans want to tear your head off if you don’t believe in EVERYTHING they say. Democrats are willing to talk and debate. The word liberal means openminded. Nothing like that in the Republican handbook.

I also was told by a Best Buy manager about 2 months ago that the Insignia mp3 line would be compatible with Itunes by August, where you could just copy over playlists and sync with the machine. NOW the SAME manager at “BEST BUY” tells me that he was “just kidding”. WHAT a FUCKING ASSHOLE to do that. What schmucky kind of store would do such a thing.

I will NEVER EVER buy ANYTHING from “BEST BUY” (or should I say “WORST BUY”) AGAIN!!!!!

and, by the way, stay away from John McBush! If he gets elected, welcome to perpetual war.

That said, the entire Insignia line of mp3 players are being revamped, upgraded, all new firmware, for the summer of 2008. An insider told me that the new players will be COMPLETELY Itunes compatible, right down to being able to sync with your playlists!!! No more stupid Rhapsody, which is used by maybe .000000000000000000000001% of the world.

The insider said that Best Buy has struck a deal with Apple to become the first Non-Ipod mp3 player to be able to utilize Itunes fully!

I can’t wait, since the previous version of this player sucked more than a blackhole at a fireworks show!
