Songza Lets You Search & Listen to Free Music

Type in an artist or a song name and the Songza search engine will provide you with a streaming link for listening to that track. The service is fast and pretty robust. I typed in Bon Jovi and got a list of tracks which can also be played without even leaving the Songza home page. You can also embed a song using HTML code if you want to share it on your web site or you can email someone a link to the track. Songza also gives you an option to buy the track. The playback sound quality with Songza is limited of course. But although Songza isn’t at all a music recommendation service, it is a great site to bookmark, especially if you find services like Pandora, Last.fm and Slacker useful.
