Well what if you could make their emotions even more real and not just a yellow face on the IM screen. i-Buddy is specifically designed for MSN Messenger 7.0 or higher, (which you can tell by the design) to be a representation of your buddy on-line and exhibit the emotion of the emoticon you receive. It is about 3 inches tall and connects to your computer via USB. You can program it to recognize a specific buddy when they sign on and it will respond to any messages you receive from that buddy.
