Here we go again another laptop bag… But this time it’s from a designer you already know, and maybe even love. Guess is now getting into the act with their own sheik take on a laptop bag. Not even released yet the Shadow Large Tote from Guess is made of PVC and has a gradient (light to dark) color effect. This is one bag that you can use as either a laptop bag or just an everyday tote. Wouldn’t your Mac Air look hot in this? The Shadow tote will cost $125 when released on Feb 25th. But that isn’t the only Laptop bag they have. They also have a more traditional-looking black Airport Laptop case for $125.

Gaming is not only about awesome graphics these days but also feeling the sensations that happen to your character on-screen in the palm of your hands. The Wii is the perfect example of almost becoming one with your game. Well what if you could feel what it was to get shot in FPS games like Call of Duty or kicked in the chest from Dead or Alive. The FPS gaming vest called 3rd Space from TN Games is one such wearable device that will make you feel like your getting punched in the gut or shot in the shoulder. The intensity feels real and I’m sure would make any hardcore gamer jump. Retailing for $169.00, it is available in Camoflauge or Black.

As we all know iPod dock stations are a dime a dozen these days. However what make the few of them standout from the rest is their design and sound quality. The mStation Orb is one such Docking/Speaker Station that is great looking and great to listen too and we were lucky enough to review it.

Setup/Installation:
When we excitedly unpacked the Orb from its box we were greeted with a pretty slick docking station that resembles a red tomato. Other items included inside the box are 10 docking cradles, all in red as well as a color coordinated remote control, a USB Cable, and a stereo mini cable. On top of the Orb are 6 buttons: power, volume controls, previous, forward, and play/pause. These buttons are also located on the remote and you can also control the Bass and Treble from the remote. The remote is thin and light weight, only somewhat bigger than a credit card. Overall, setup was easy, and we easily snapped in the appropriate cradle for our 3rd generation Nano. Besides using the included cradles there is a Firewire port that allows you to connect really older iPod generations, which is a great feature that most iPod docking stations don’t have. Then we plugged in the AC adapter to power the speaker and the included USB cable for syncing the Orb to your computer. The whole set-up took less than 5 minutes and even though there were instructions included, we figured it out on our own.

The Consumers Electronic Show (CES) ushers in the New Year by giving one a bird’s eyes view of what products will be available in the months ahead. Some of the electronic products offered cover the gamut of being mundane while other products are innovative. Take for instance, the slick and futuristic looking Boynq Alibi Computer Speaker Webcam and Microphone. We jumped at the opportunity to put this gadget to the test.
Dubbed, the Alibi, this USB plug and play combination computer speaker, webcam, and microphone, aims to add a bit of style to the way one uses a webcam. What makes this webcam different from other web cams is that the web cam is enclosed inside of the body and is released by pressing on top. Hence, the web cam pops out and the speakers are turned on as well (this is the on/off button). This webcam can also manually tilt and swivels around. The microphone is located to the right of the web cam lens (it’s a small slit), and the speakers are housed on the bottom of this unit (four stands prop up the body of the web cam, thus allowing the sound to emit from the speakers). The volume “control ring” button for the speakers is located in the middle of the webcam and is smartly labeled “volume”, and minimum and maximum buttons are clearly but cleverly marked. Also, the packaging for this web cam is the best marketing presentation that I’ve seen in awhile.

So many of us have great ideas, whether it be an iPod accessory or really neat idea for a gadget. But most of the time, our ideas never make it to fruition because it’s difficult for the average person to get together the capital and resources required to bring that idea to life. Kluster, a new social-network is set to change all of that by enabling communities of people to collaborate on projects. “There are too many people who walk the earth with groundbreaking ideas that will never see the light of day,” says Ben Kaufman, Kluster’s 21 year old founder who just happened to start Mophie, a successful iPod accessory company that started up in 2005 when he was just 18 years old. “We strongly believe that the world should be working together to figure out what’s next, rather than just buying what’s new.”

When you wake up late for work just tell your boss you forgot to water your clock. Princess: Amazing Water Clock is completely energized by water. There is an energy converter built in to convert water into steady electric currents to power the clock. It comes in translucent blue so it’s pretty as well. These days everyone thinks they can be the next great DJ. Just because they know how to mix a few songs and buy big head phones that make them look cool doesn’t mean you’re the next Mark Ronson. However if you absolutely insist here is the poor man’s version of a DJ kit. The ION Audio Block Rocker is a portable speaker system that has 4 inputs for your CD Player, MP3 Player, universal dock for iPod, and microphones. This unit is perfect for gigs and has no cords or extra external components, it will fit in your car perfectly if you need to travel around to events. It’s not the prettiest looking speaker but it is durable and sturdy and has a long lasting battery. For $299 this is a cheap effective alternative instead of lugging around huge pieces of equipment. Your back will thank you.

The Stylophone kind of looks like a cross between an accordion and a Nintendo DS. However the Stylophone is a pocket synthesizer that was created over 40 years ago and is being brought back to life by artists like the White Stripes and Marilyn Manson. Tap the electronic keys with the stylus and you can create funky noises with classical, bass, and synth sounds. You can make noise solo or plug in your iPod or MP3 player and jam with your favorite groups to enhance or destroy their songs depending on how talented you are. In order for you to become the next Stylophone prodigy you’ll have to layout £14.99.

We don’t care if we’re supposed to act like adults – we’re proud to admit that we still love toys. And for toy lovers like us, there is no better time of the year then the Toy Fair when all the toy manufacturers show off their latest wares. Even better, this years Toy Fair is the techiest one yet. Well after Valentine’s day I don’t know about you but my face broke out from all the chocolate. So what to do?! Facials? Acne Medication? What about a Acne Clearing device? Just when we’d thought that we had seen skins show up on just about everything, we discover SkinStyler. SkinStyler providers stylish skins for one part of your laptop that has been untapped until now – your Trackpad. There is no question that trackpads do tend to become warn out, oily and grimy, so this product might not be totally coming out of the left field. SkinStyler provides a matt surface for the trackpad on the Macbook and Macbook Pro and claims to help prevent old and dirt, increase trackpad sensitivity, protect against scratches, and of course it will perk up the look of your laptop.

There are many of us out there that will never spend hundreds of dollars on a Louis Vuitton or Coach iPod case, but we still would prefer to dress our beloved iPods in some sort of designer name. Luckily Paul Frank, has two new spiffy ipod cases for the 30GB and 80GB ipods. The cases are made of top grain leather with built in micro fiber suede lining and a clear PVC screen protector. There is a pink neapolitan version for girls and a woodgrain version for guys.

This past week we were invited to see some of the current and future EA titles in person. We are only going to make mention of the titles that especially caught our eye from a girl gamer perspective. We apologize in advance for those hoping we would be dishing on Warhammer, no such luck. But the good news is that there are plenty of exciting new games to talk about that are coming out soon, as well as a few that are already available.

“What percent of women say they would rather work for a man than a woman?”, “How much would the average guy pay to be 6 inches taller?” and other similar questions are some of the questions that you’ll find in the new X vs Y game, a unique electronic game for adults that explores love, life, work, home, appearance, relationships, marriage and the differences between men and women through out all of that. The game comes with an electronic card scanner with automatic scoring and an adjustable volume, so you can leave the brain work left to answering the questions on the cards. We’re the first to admit that there is something beautiful about a minimalist, clean design that makes it aesthetically pleasing. But as uniquely stylesd as these Magno Personal wooden radios are, we can’t manage to justify the $200+ price tags. The radios are set to be released in April and aside from functioning as an FM radio, they will also feature MP3 player inputs. The two larger versions will retail for $330, and the smaller sized version for $220.

It’s cuddly, it’s soft, and it’s not what you expect it to be. The Mini Plush FM radio is a squeezable radio shaped like a traditional boom box. It’s available in a choice of red, pink, green, blue or yellow. Expect it to show up in a local retailer near you soon.

We got to play with the adorable Guitar Hero Carabiner at the Toy Fair in New York City today. Is it everything we expected it to be? The LCD display on it is your standard cheapo screen. And unfortunately it was hard to judge its music playback quality on the loud show floor. Well, for $14.99 you can’t expect a tricked out product, but it is definitely cute and worth the price, though not a penny more. We’ll label it as one of those cheaper kind of guilty pleasures.

As we all know, famous designers and fashion houses are all getting into the act for making Laptop or iPod accessories these days. It seems to be a new calling. So Stella McCartney has partnered with LeSportsac, which is already famous in their own right for making funky designed bags of all kinds. She will be making a limited edition set of “lifestyle collections.” One of these such lifestyle bags will be a computer sleeve which kind of looks like a quilted blanket with exterior pockets for all your junk. There is the Pop print, Purple Grey Solid, and Purple Grey Quilted. All three will be available for $120 and you can pre-order any of them if you like from the LeSportsac website. So if you are willing to drop a lot of pennies for this bag, which I’m sure will be going to the Paul McCartney divorce fund, than this bag is for you.
