Pimp Your Bike Ride With Hokey Spokes
Riding your bicycle at night has always been dangerous especially if you are someplace that is extremely dark. Reflectors on the back and front of your bike help, but not always. Well what if you lit up your wheels with LED lights! Hokey Spokes may sound like a stupid name but in fact what they are actually very cool. These transparent blades attach to the wheels of your bike and as you bike around town, a computer built inside one of the blades generates different LED lights and images for all to see. You can even set a custom text to display. This is a good way to advertise something, perhaps your blog? Hokey Spokes costs $29.95 each and up to 6 blades can be put on one wheel.

This is a shameless plug, but might be helpful - we carry a similar product to Hokey Spokes. Our product is much lighter than Hokey Spokes (without batteries, 3.8oz per blade vs. 5.2oz) and takes AAA batteries instead of AA batteries, so that the final weight would be lighter by about half. It also comes with a USB cable so that you can create customized messages on your computer, in five different languages no less. We also have daytime pictures of our lights installed at our blog. We’d love for you to take a look and let us know what you think!
