Digital Touch iPod Ripoff Coming to a $10 Dollar Store Near You

digitouch Digital Touch iPod Ripoff Coming to a $10 Dollar Store Near YouYesterday it was the “Blade Runner” that looked like a Motorola Razr minus the phone feature. Now we have the Digital Touch which is supposed to be a knock off of the iPod Touch. Gee what an original name… Digital Touch… even right down to the icons, this device wants to give you what you want but in sheep’s clothing. As you would suspect, the Digital Touch is also has a touch screen interface, and it sports a 12 hour battery life for music, an FM radio, voice recorder, an e-book reader, games, miniSD expansion, a 2.8-inch TFT LCD, MP3, WMA and FLAC music file support and Mpeg-4 video file support - you know, all the features you’d expect in your standard knock-off. They even throw in a stylus and car charger. All this, for the grand price of $98.99.

I ordered one of these from work, thinking I was going to just tear it apart, but it works fairly well. It’s definitely no iPod killer, but rockchip players have their market, and it’s not just for people who can’t afford Apple products.

When I finish writing up my review of it (which covers the positives and negatives), I’ll post a link so you can see it.

I think that these “ChipChick’s” should be called “CheapChick’s”.

Because they don’t know if somethings good if they have one, I just ordered one from eBay for only $79.95, a greeat price for somehing this good, I mean where in the world do you get an Mp3, Video, Game, E Book, Recorder, Photo, and an Fm Radio Tune Player. Plus the great extra feature of having a touch screen.

I mean $79.95 - $100.00 is a great bargain deal for one of these babies…..

So resoect other peoples thoughts also…..if you want them to respect yours………

    :(

I love mine. I’ve had it for about 4 months and no problems. I have it hooked up in my car to listen over the cars sound system and its excellent quality. I haven’t really done anything else with it, because this is all I wanted it for. It has limited navigation to find all the songs, but its not at all bad.

Oh, and I got it for $20 off a friend, can’t beat that anywhere.

Got something to say?
