Sound strange enough? It gets stranger. Each pattern is automatically generated by the personal information on the buyer’s credit card. This project was presented at the at the Campus 2.0 exhibition at the Ars Electronica festival. But that wasn’t the only tech’ed out knitting project that was on display. News Knitter was another project shown off at the event that collects and translates political news from RSS feeds in to a visual form on a knitted sweater. And to think, these ideas didn’t even sprout out of Japan. (Source: Guerilla Innovation)
