Probably the ugliest looking keyboard I’ve every seen and what looks like it could be a shell from an old Commodore 64 keyboard back in the day, this “All in One PC” or what better known as the ZPC-GX31 from Cybernet, stuffs all the guts of a computer into a keyboard chasis. The computer sports an Intel Core 2 Quad CPU, 4MB of DDR2/667Mhz RAM, 1GB LAN and DVI interface, 4 USB ports, Audio Inputs/Outputs, Ethernet Jack, PS/2 inputs, optical drive CDRW-DVD or DVD+/-RW, Intel Graphics Card, a Serial ATA HD, and several fans to keep the unit cool. You can customize your keyboard with options that could range anywhere from $699.00 to $1099.

At first glance I didn’t know what this was, was it a digital camera? A battery charger? An electric shaver? I was surprised to discover that it’s actually a mouse, the Pocket mouse from Ice Rage to be exact. Sleek and sort of stylish, this three button mouse with an ultra-sensitive touch sensor works on both PC and Mac. There is even a Auto Retractor for the USB cable to avoid long wires… almost like one of those doggy leashes. The mouse is available in a big selection of colors including Blue, Hot Pink, Neon Green, Silver, White, and Black. We love the color choices but this mouse is not for someone who is looking for something ergonomic. However this mouse is certainly aimed to be the talk of any meeting or long plane ride.

What have some people done with all those old keyboards from Mac since the newer slim aluminum keyboards came out, use them for jewelry of course! Acorn Studios has released a Mac-Girl Set that features a “Return” key keychain, “Delete” and ‘Help” earrings, and “M A C” keys as a pendant on a necklace. If you want this set act fast because it’s a limited edition with only two sets available. I guess that was all the keyboards they had…

To cheap to buy a wireless broadband card for your laptop? Then the Digital Hotspotter is for you. The 2nd generation of this popular gadget will locate Wi-Fi Hotspots, providing Network ID’s, Signal Strength, and information on 20 or less multiple networks at once. It’s small and weighs just 2.5 oz so you won’t mind carrying it around either. So if free Wi-Fi is your thing and don’t mind wondering around town trying to find Wi-Fi Hotspots, getting disconnected often, and possibly getting hacked, then this gadget is for you and will only set you back $59.95.

We’re not sure why we’ve never heard of Vye Computer UMPC, the Mini-v S37. Weighing just a bit over 2 pounds and doubling as a tablet with a 7″ screen, it reminds us a heck a lot of the LifeBook U810 UMPC. However, despite its similar 800 mhz processor, screen size and similar form factor and looks, the Vye Mini-v S37 out does many the Fujitsu u810 and many other UMPC in one specific area – hard drive capacity. The S37 is available with a 120GB or 250GB hard drive, which is quite unusual for such a small little fella. You can also get one with a 32GB SSD drive, a DVD burner and up to 2GB of ram. The Vie Mini-V model B can found for as low as $1,249.00, preloaded with Vista, which isn’t totally unreasonable.

We haven’t had any exciting iPhone/iPod cases to report about lately but luckily that has changed. Over at Apple.com they just released two cases by Paul Frank. You know, the designer who is famous for the monkey cartoon image of Zoom Julius.  So now there is a rubber case for the iPod Touch that features the famous Paul Frank Mascot on the back. The other case is for the iPhone and is an image of a “Slap Bass”, also on the back of the case. Both cases look pretty hip and certainly would give your iPhone/iPod Touch a cool factor. Not that they needed more of one. Both cases retail for $29.95

Docking stations for laptops have been around for quite sometime. The premise behind them is simple – plug in all your peripherals in to the dock (your printer, scanner, speakers, mouse, etc) and then plug in your laptop. Thus, you’re saved the hassle of having to unplug and replug in all your peripherals each time you put your laptop down on your desk. While there are many docking stations available for PC laptops, Macbook and Macbook Pro owners have been pretty much left out. Luckily BookEndz has come out with a white and a black version for the Macbook as well as versions for the Macbook Pro.

We have written about the zCovers before for Apple keyboards. Recently they just updated their line to include Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools, Photoshop, After Effects, etc… for the new aluminium keyboards as well as the Macbook Air. Not that any of these heavy duty programs will run all that well on the Mac Book Air but at least you’ll have shortcuts on how to work them if need be.

One of the downsides of having a laptop is having to lug it around with you. If the neon signs weren’t enough last week, this week we have a retro USB lamp to keep your little desk well lit. We have seen many many USB lamps. Mostly they all have been a bulb at the end of a bendy stick. However this lamp looks like an actual one, that is a throw back to when I was a kid and would visit my Grandma’s home. Yes we have all seen the commercial and it was only a matter of time before a company out there starting make an actual laptop case that resembled a manila envelope for the Macbook Air. The Shake-A-Brush Electric Toothbrush Power Adapter will turn any regular toothbrush into a motorized one. Insert the toothbrush into the adapter and it will start to vibrate. I don’t understand how they think this even compares to lets say a Sonic Care Toothbrush. The bristles still won’t move and all it will do is give you a serious case of vibration sensations in your hand. Personally, for $39.99 I would use that money towards the real deal instead of this wannabe.
