		<description>the reason that the mac version does not have these software features, is that every mac has shipped with these capabilities for the last five years or so. idvd, front row, and quicktime handle all of the abilities of the &quot;missing&quot; ati software. as well, i have owned ati tv tuners before, their bundled software is often buggy and rarely updated. you are much better off using the tools bundled with your mac.</description>

It&#039;s a  shame ElGato&#039;s EyeTV or Equinux&#039;s TheTube software for Mac doesn&#039;t seem to list this 650 QAM Hybrid tuner on their supported 3rd-party HD tuner devices list. After all, it&#039;s the software that really makes rather generic TV tuner hardware great - or not. I&#039;d owned a USB 1.1 TV Wonder for Mac years ago and ATI&#039;s Mac version software wasn&#039;t very impressive back then either...</description>
