spacenavigatornotebooks 3DConnexions Line of 3D Mice Welcome SpaceNavigator for NotebooksWe’ve mentioned some of 3DConnexion’s products in the past because of their very unusual brand of peripherals. We’re not knocking the old fashioned mouse, we couldn’t survive without them, but when it comes to navigating 3D space in 3D software, working with a mouse can be frustrating and limiting. 3Dconnexion specializes in products that let you move fluidly in 3D Programs like Maya and Autocad. Their newest device is the SpaceNavigator for Notebooks which has been sleekly designed with portability in mind for those 3D professionals who are constantly on the go with their laptops. But the SpaceNavigator isn’t necessarily meant just for 3D professionals. It also works with popular programs like Google Earth and SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended, and 3DConnexion just announced that by mid April, their devices will also work with everyone’s favorite online multiplayer – Second Life. The SpaceNavigator for notebooks will retail for $129 and come with a 2 year warranty. We’ll have a full review of the SpaceNavigator for Notebooks shortly.pzm 3DConnexions Line of 3D Mice Welcome SpaceNavigator for Notebooks

The concept reminds me of the old space orb 360.
