Segways Get Plasma TVs for Adverts

segwayplasmatv-300x225 Segways Get Plasma TVs for AdvertsSo the other day we were walking around Columbus Circle in New York City and noticed some unusual Segways speeding around. We’ve seen Segways used as a method to advertise products in the pass, but usually they were just covered with a cardboard advertisement. These Segways were a lot cooler then that. Each one had a Plasma TV vertically attached to the front of the Segway, busy playing an advertisement for a new Fox show called Fringe. We also scoped out the passengers side of the Segway and noticed an interesting set up which included a portable DVD player, likely used to control the front display. So is this a future outlet for Segways? Likely, since who else but corporate advertisers can afford these fun beasts.
