Maxtor’s New Colorful Portable USB Powered Hard Drives

Seagate has some new small hard drives set to come to the market that sport shock protection and cool colors in a portable form factor. There will be 3 different version of the Maxtor Portable USB Powered Hard Drive available: Topaz 250GB: $129.99, Cobalt 320B: $179.99, and Graphite 320GB: $179.99. The reasonably priced drives are both Mac & PC compatible, totally USB powered, they include EMI protection, have SATA hard drives spinning inside and come with a 5 year warranty. The upcoming Maxtor Basics will be available at Best Buy starting June 22nd.
