MTV True Life, I Live Another Life on the Web

In between watching episodes of A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila on MTV (hides in shame.) I stumbled upon a very poignant episode of True Life, I Live Another Life on the Web. For anyone that missed it I suggest you check it out (it’s free to watch at MTV.com). We all work, surf, or socialize on the web now. It’s just part of our daily routine. But these woman have taken it step further and truly live on the web by developing emotions with strangers, losing inhibitions and creating an imaginary world that alters drastically from from their real one. One woman is a rock star in Second Life but has a fear of singing in public in the real world, another one suffers from social anxiety but online she’s a lot more revealing and “social”. Let’s just say it really made me want to go outside and breathe some fresh air after watching.
