While it’s not our own policy to live in fear, when it comes to young children, we agree that some preventative measures to keep them safe can be very wise. The BrickHouse Child Locator is a device that lets you keep a constant watch on your child when in public areas. The device comes with a small tag designed to attach to your kid’s shoes, or clothing. The tag works as a homing device should your child leave the safety zone, in which case the BrickHouse Child Locator will notify you. The tag also has a panic button for your child to use in an emergency. And if your child does wander off, the BrickHouse Child Locator will beep, vibrate, and visually lead them to you. The BrickHouse Child Locator with Distance Alert retails for $189.95, which is a small price to keep your child safe. (Source: Chip Chicklets)

This sounds like something that could be very valuable for autistic children and also for people with Alzheimer’s.
I think you should market it for that also!!

My only problem with this device is wether or not 600ft is enough range to make it worthwhile. Otherwise I’m sold. I’ve got a 4yr old who likes to wander and is often fearless.
