Well add this lamp to the disco mouse and mousepad from earlier the week and it will look like Studio 54 threw up on your desk. The Encore Rockin Music Lamp from ASC Lighting and Design is a lamp with a built in Mp3 docking station. It has 2 internal speakers, takes a 40 Watt appliance bulb, and volume controls. The best part of the lamp is the base, which has rainbow party lights that pulsate to the beat of the music. Really, what more could you want. We are just pleased this isn’t a halogen lamp or the iPod may turn to mush before it got the party started. The Encore Rockin Music Lamp costs $37.99.

    You can “win” these at Dave & Busters. My son got one a few weeks ago. This is one of the few electronic things he has gotten from D&B that actually didn’t break in 2 minutes! The sound isn’t awful either and is a decent lamp for a desk.
