I’m going to sell it or throw it away. The software is incomprehensible to me…very fer editing options, no tutorials, unusable. Also, it kept crashing my computer. Files can’t be uplaoded to Windows Movie Maker which looks much more usable, in fact the videos don’t even show up in My Videos in Documents. No response from arcsoft support at all as they apparently want me to pay $30 for six months of phone support but based on what I’ve seen so far I doubt they’d be any help. I like the camera but could use a flash and more zoom. If you just want to upload to youtube it’s fine although that isn’t what I bought it for. I’m thoroughly disgusted as I was trying to edit pieces of video to meet a deadline on a big opportunity and now I have nothing. I’m deleting the program for the third time as it really messes up my computer which is s new XP Pro. I bought it from QVC and I see they don’t even carry it anymore so must have a lot of returns.

The Zi6 works great with a Mac. The new iMovie ‘09 has a built-in You-Tube converter and uploader.

So how did you get this camera to work on a MAC?
Did you just have to download the software for OS X before you could use it? Or did it work with QT player?
