I've been beta testing the Peek so here are my hits and misses (and some caveats!):

HITS--
**I love the rubbery keypad and the key layout;
**the setup is SUPER easy;
**the screen is very legible!
**The unit feels really solid!

MISSES--
**The "space bar" key is too small and sort of twitchy;
**the "back button" is well-placed for lefties but will give most righties a thumb cramp;
**the charger is some weird cable--mini USB would be better;
**there are basically no keyboard shortcuts at this point--but they have indicated that they are developing "page up" "Page down" "next email" "previous email"

CAVEATS--
**HTML email--you may be able view jpeg attachments but there is no browser so you can't view links or web served images in email. A few years ago, this might not have been a problem, but now I'd say that 75% of my mail is HTML and not plain text.
**the integration of the Peek server with mail account servers is variable from system to system. They are still having growing pains, but will probably iron out the server issues one of these days! For example email downloaded to Peek from Gmail appears un-read in your web view even after you have read it whereas email from Yahoo is all read. The Peek server also holds mail in the queue in an odd way--I was on vacation without the Peek reading my mail accounts on a laptop and when I returned and turned on the Peek, it downloaded ALL the mail I had received in the past week, including messages which I had erased from my mail account days before.
