Two crafty fellows named case Simmons and Andrew Burke scoured Flickr, Google images search, and forums like 4chan and 12ozProphet for images. They then took the images that they found and produced a bunch of massive multimedia collages. The 4 collages contain thousands of images and also are accompanied by audio which was also composed of samples found online. The art/collages are currently on display at the Lightbox gallery in L.A. And the muscle needed to power these creations? A Mac Pro with two 3.2GHZ Quad core Intel Xeon Processors and a whopping 32 gigs of ram. Sheesh. That’s enough ram to power a small country.
