We read about it and fellow geeks everywhere drooled over the images, wishing and hoping to get their hands on it soon. Finally Diamond Select Toys has it up on their website for sale. The chair features modern lighting and sound effects, as well as phrases “designed to thrill any Star Trek enthusiast!”.  Oooh, and it even swivels. There are only 1,701 pieces being made. Just in time for the movie in May, the chair is currently up for pre-order for about $2700 from Diamond Select Toys, however we did find that BigBadToyStore has it available for pre-order for a significantly cheaper $2100. Though we do imagine that Diamond Select Toys will have it available first.
