The whole purpose of having an iPhone is that it doesn’t require a stylus to use. So I guess it boggles my mind that some companies still think creating one for a device that doesn’t need one is cool even if it does come in pretty colors. The iPik Super Thumb Stylus from gpik is that said device. While probably useful for slipping onto a pair of gloves to make it easier to use it cold winter days. I don’t see much else purpose. The images displayed on the website show people using it the same way you would without it. I guess they have no fingertips. In any case if you find this useful or fun way to poke some one, it comes in plenty of girly colors and retails for $14.95.

My brother lost his finger tips in an accident. Stylus and stylus technologies allow him to have touch technologies like the iphone and ipod touch. For the average user, maybe not appropriate. For the handicapped or persons with unusually large fingers, these types of products allow them to enjoy these micro technologies too.
