What? Ma'am, to be honest with you, Sennheiser makes some of the best professional headphones out there. Ever heard of the HD 600 series? Those are highly regarded as some as the best dynamic headphones due to their wide frequency response and incredibly clarity in all spectra. To say the 228's are decent doesn't do it justice.

The HD 228's are easily some of the best portable headphones ever, alongside the PX100, Grado SR60/80, Koss Porta Pros, and many other brands (not Bose, Monster, or Skullcandy, but real headphone manufacturers). They are easily driven by a portable source and have excellent sound quality.
