The DIY Hard drive Clock from Etsy is the perfect gift for those who are not only collectors of odd clocks but can’t bare to part with old computer equipment. At one time this was a real 3 1/2″ computer hard drive that now was converted into a desk clock with a quartz drive movement installed. Not only is the clock pretty cool, it’s essentially green too since its made from actual recycled hard drives. The only downside is that it has no numerals or markings indicating what times it is. So for those not good with analog clocks this will just be more of a conversation piece than a useful clock. The Clock Made from a Computer Hard Drive retails for $32.
