It seems that Tom Hanks is having a problem discerning where his true gadgets alliances are. At CES just two months ago, he made a grand speech about how much he used Sony products. But then he hit a snafu. “Describing his electronic book, Hanks pretended to call out Amazon.com’s Kindle instead of Sony’s product, saying he’s using ‘The Ki … Sony Digital Reader, which is a fine product in its own right.’” Hmm, Tom?
To make matters worse, we just caught this quote in People magazine from Tom.
“I got a kindle for newspapers and magazines, not for books. Quite frankly, I prefer to buy books from my neighborhood bookstore.” (People magazine, March 30th, 2009).
Well Tom, we only have one thing to say for you and it’s this – you can’t go on on like this, swinging both ways – gadgets have feelings too ya know.
