I’m sure we have all heard at one time or another when someone offered to sell us a piece of the moon. Well it’s not bull any more. The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation has just revealed the 2009 Space Artifact Series. Now you can own space artifacts that were actually parts of space shuttles (Apollo 9 and Apollo 13) – be it a tire, material from a seat cushion or piece of insulation from a lunar module. Each one is encased inside to protect it from the elements. The pricing of these rare artifacts are certainly out of this world at $699. There are 200 of these available, so first come first serve.
