We have always been a fan of the Epson Artisan series of printers. Well the Epson Artisan 50 is the newest addition to the line and lets users print their own images and text onto ink jet printable CDs and DVDs. This single function printer will of course allow you to print documents, e-mails and anything else your heart desires as well. Printing speeds are 38 ppm in color and 37 ppm black (both in draft mode) or 5 ppm in black and 4.8 ppm in color under laser quality setting. Once photos are printed they are smudge, water, and fade resistant due to the Claria Hi-Definition Ink. The Epson Artisan 50 will be available in June and will retail for a recession friendly $99.99.
