LaCie’s new USB hubs have us scratching our heads for as to why this is the first time we’ve seen such a product. After all, having a USB hub come with built-in cables, seems so obvious. Their new Core4 and Core7 USB hubs each come with two-built in USB cables – one a USB host cable, and one a USB Mini-B cable. Both hubs are sporting Lacie’s traditional clean and minimalist design signature by Sam Hecht. The Core7 that comes with 7 ports, retails for $19.99, and the Core 4 that comes with 4 ports retails for just $9.99
Lacie has also announced several new hard drive bags to protect your traveling data. These new carrying cases include the LaCie Coat which features bubble protection and is available in orange, red and gray. Then there is the lightweight LaCie Cover in gray, and the heavier duty LaCie Cozy in red, black and gray which features memory foam.
