Opportunity Rings is a tech inspired novel with a touch of Sex and City thrown in for good measure. Basically Sex and the City meets Bill Gates – and you’ve summed up Opportunity Rings. The story focuses on Erica Swift a 35yr old Marketing Director of a smart phone company who knows nothing about tech and has just put on her best poker face. Then things in her life turn sour and she needs to learn and embrace technology in her life. The story does sound a bit similar to the storyline behind Confessions of a Shopaholic. Anyway, the book has everything – anecdotes of Star Trek, Bill Gates, and of course that Sex and City stuff we mentioned before. This is a perfect read for those techie ladies out there heading out of town for Memorial Day weekend, but you’ll have to deal with the paperback version as there is none for the Kindle…how archaic!
