Ever wonder what happens to those tires you find blown out on the side of the road or trashed when you replace your own tires? Well Tread is an ingenuous company who is taking all those discarded tires and turning them in to laptop, iPod, cellphone, and Solio Cases. Taken from the inner tubes of tires off of South American trucks, each tire is examined and then crafted for a specific case. If it sounds familar, it’s because this is a spinoff from the Solio company that brought us one of the most popular emergency solar power chargers to date.  The cases are as durable as the tires they originally came from. They can withstand extreme temperatures, acid, and powerful UV rays. Each case; be it for a laptop or iPod, is made with great detail down to the texture and stitching. Also, each one is not only durable but also stylish in a more or less masculine way, and you would never guess it originated from a dirty old tire.
