I honestly haven’t been wowed by a digital picture frame in quite sometime. The last time was actually the Digital Album and this one almost looks similar to it. However, the latest one from Digital Spectrum takes the cake. The ALBUM by Digital Spectrum is a fashionable portable digital photo gallery. It is a 7″ LCD with 4GB of internal memory allowing for 40,000 photographs. It also has a built in card reader for you to download into it from your camera, flash drives, etc… but that is not what really makes it so appealing. It’s the exterior of this device that makes the ALBUM pop.  The incredibly slim profile is available in Black-Silver-Tan, Black- Silver- Black, and Black-Fuschia-Black and it’s embossed aluminum back plate has the word  ALBUM on it.  It also comes wrapped in a protective fine black leather cover which doubles as a stand. This is no average portable digital picture frame. Bold words I know, but The ALBUM could possibly do for pictures what the iPod did for music. It currently retails for $129.99 at Amazon.
