Skype Adds Screen Sharing Feature to Mac & PC Apps

We’re pretty addicted to Skype as it is, and now Skype has a new ace up its sleeve that makes it even more useful. Screen Sharing is now available for both the Mac and PC versions of Skype. This is great for collaborative conversations, meetings, photos, presentations – and for those times when your mom needs help and you can’t see her screen! This is a bit similar to iChat’s screen sharing ability which lets other users control your screen. But with Skype’s screen sharing feature you yourself have control over what the other user sees on your screen.

Screen sharing with Skype is easy: you just click the “Share Your Screen” button in the conversations window’s IM toolbar (using Windows) or Share > Share Screen You can then choose to share a full screen or just a small part of it.
