It seems Sound Blaster still wants you to know it has relevancy with the launch of the Sound Blaster Wireless System for iTunes + Receiver. Even though they have a little thing called the ZEN, they still realize that iTunes will always rule, so they might as well suck it up. Just plug in the device in to your USB port and stream your iTunes music wirelessly to your powered speakers or home stereo system via the Sound Blaster Wireless Receiver. Sound Blaster Wireless for iTunes enables speakers to be placed anywhere in the home. No wireless network is required, so it’s much easier to set up unlike Wi-Fi based systems like the SONOS. Everything is easily controlled with the included remote. The Sound Blaster Wireless for iTunes including a Creative Wireless Receiver is available today at Amazon.com and Creative for $149.99

It seems like your “easier to set up than Sonos” comment must be from SoundBlaster’s marketing material. Sonos doesn’t “require” a wireless network — it creates its own. And, unlike this product, the Sonos doesn’t require your computer to be on at all — you can stream Rhapsody, Sirius/XM, Pandora and free Internet radio with your computer completely off.
