timeline player 300x251 Ugolog Offers Free Web Based Video Monitoring for Your HomeUsing Ugolog, you can transform your existing web cam in to a home video surveillance system on the cheap. The online service lets use your existing web cam to record video footage of what goes on when you aren’t around. Aside from webcams the service also works with IP Cameras and it will provide you with a full history, including frame by frame snapshots. Additionally, it will even send you notifications via RSS when ever there is motion detected and recorded. The basic service is free and includes 1 camera and 50mb of storage. However, the Plus and Pro accounts offer more 2, and 5 cameras respectively, and 1gb and 5gb storage, are currently free during their beta. No matter what, it certainly seems like it doesn’t hurt to try out Ugolog. It might just be the cheapest and easiest to use surveillance system that we have ever come across.

Just when I thought I’ve seen it all! A week ago I stumbled on SpyRocks.com and saw their wireless night-vision surveillance cameras hidden inside fake rocks and artificial tree stumps for outdoor home security. They actually look realistic!!! (Their website has a cool section with photos of spy gadgets and hidden cameras throughout history too). What next??? LOL!
