ipom 206x300 iPom Speaker System Uses USB Memory Sticks and SD Cards as Plant Food This is probably the only potted plant I won’t kill. The iPom is an adorable external 2.1 Stereo Speaker System that plays music from a USB Memory Stick or SD card. It’s not an iPod dock – YIPPEE!!! However there is a 3.5mm AUX input jack to connect to a MP3 player and other music sources. The total output is 18 watts but it does have a 12w subwoofer. Specs aside, the iPom is an adorable speaker that resembles a potted plant or apple – I’m not quite sure. The colors are very tween’ and women friendly and this device is brought to you by the same company behind the iPig and iPanda. It’s nice to see ingenious speaker systems for a change that are just not the same thing over and over again. The iPom from Speakal has no price yet, but keep checking their website for when it becomes available.
