Portable Pocket TV is the Smallest HDTV Ever

In recent years the popularity of portable pocket televisions has waned. Now that the DTV transition has happened, it’s even more difficult to find portable handheld tellies. This new Portable Pocket TV isn’t just digital – it’s also an HDTV with a 480 x 272 resolution, and a 16:9 wide screen. Ok, well they are stretching the truth about it being an HDTV. It’s more like an EDTV since it can receive high definition broadcasts but it doesn’t have an HD resolution for its display. alas, it’s still pretty impressive kit for $199.99. Unfortunately the 1.5 hour battery life kind of limits it’s portability factor. Still, we think this would do well on a kitchen counter or on a desk.
