epsonlite1 289x300 Epson Powerlite 1716 Projector is Ultra Portable and AffordableLooking for an ultra-portable but yet economical projector? The just announced Epson Powerlite 1716 could be just the ticket. Priced at $999, the PowerLite 1716 manages to be a little less than  four pounds, yet it exhibits XGA resolution with 2,700 lumens for rich, colorful and true-to-life images. No projector screen needed – just aim it at a solid wall with no obstructions and enjoy.  The USB Plug ‘n Play enables images to be displayed on your computer and projector screen simply by connecting a USB cable. You can also use it to setup an EasyMP wireless module which allows for virtual remote control and presentation via IP network capabilities. Being a big fan of Epson projectors and having seen this one already in person, I can guarantee that it will not disappoint. The Epson PowerLite 1716 is expected to hit retailers in October 2009.
