006 300x225 Floobs Lets You Stream Live Mobile Video From Your Cell Or Camera Floobs, is a multimedia company based that offers a live streaming video tool. Floobs lets you create your own video channel in which you can broadcast live content directly to the Internet. You can stream live from a DV camera, webcam, or your mobile phone and your viewers can check out your channel on your webpage, Facebook, or MySpace. Not yet available on iPhones, the Floobs tool works on various other smart phones. The idea was born when founder Joonas Pekkanen set-up a webcam in his girlfriend’s horse stable so she could say goodnight to her horse without having to walk down to the stable. From what began as a “pet project,” has turned into a start-up on the cutting 010 300x225 Floobs Lets You Stream Live Mobile Video From Your Cell Or Cameraedge of the real-time web and live media sharing. Floobs has seen success with the European sports teams, in particular soccer clubs (or shall I say football clubs) that use the tool to stream sports events and interviews on their channel. Although Floobs didn’t perfect the art of live media streaming, part of their success comes from their extended functionality allowing you to stream live video from a web cam, DV camera, or mobile phone. Clips are stored on Floobs.com for later review and sharing. You can get this awesome free tool by signing up at Floobs.com.
