The new HP TouchSmart tx2 stands out from among the Tablet PC pack because it has the world’s first tablet PC to sport Multi-Touch capabilities with a capacitive screen, that means that you can use two fingers to navigate the PC. The tx2 has been updated and it now comes preloaded with TouchSmart software that is very similar to the TouchSmart All-in-one PC’s software suite. That set of software applications, combined with Windows 7 Multi-Touch support, and the tx2’s capacitive screen, make it a “true” tablet PC. The tx2 weighs 4.65lbs, with a 12.1″ display and a system running on the AMD Turion dual-core processor. Pricing begins at $799.
