The LaCie Grand Hard Disk is the newest designer hard drive to grace your desk at the office or at home. From its design, it looks like it probably is the big brother to the LaCie Petit Hard Disk. The curvilinear design is organically inspired with a tough exterior. The current crop of LaCie hard drives in general, have certainly denounced the idea that hard drives are just big bricks that store data. This new disk has a USB 2.0 connection and has an interface transfer rate up to 480Mbits/s (60MB/s). Out of the box it will work with both Windows 7 and Snow Leopard and comes in 1TB and 2TB capacities. The LaCie Grand Hard Disk retails for $119.99 and $239.99 respectively but you can get them for a tad cheaper at Amazon.
