FastMall App Helps Busy Shoppers Find a Mall Restroom By Shaking Their iPhone

It’s too bad this app wasn’t released before the Holiday season began! Fastmall makes your life easier when looking for a specific store, restroom, food courts etc in your local Mall.It will give you turn by turn navigation much like Google maps does outdoors. FastMall does not use GPS inside the mall so it will not crash if a signal fails. In addition, you can chart the best course for a leisurely shopping trip, even at the largest mega-malls like Mall of America. When you need a restroom just tap the toilet icon or shake your iPhone, and FastMall shows you where the nearest restrooms are. Interactive maps that include the option to shake your iPhone for the nearest restroom range from $0.99 for smaller malls to $2.99 for the largest malls. Now come next year I’ll have my holiday shopping done and my hands washed in 15 minutes flat.

I downloaded fastmall just now and was very impressed with menlo park malls map. I’d certainly recommend it and will get the map for king of Prussia mall which is like a small city. Will be great to have there.

Point Inside is a boring piece of junk with awful maps and no interactivity to take me where I want to go using elevators, escalators or the quickest route with turn by turn directions. I can shake my iPhone and find the nearest restroom and then be guided directly to it with FastMall. Point Inside has no community, deals, crowd-sourcing, interactivity, turn by turn guidance, shake phone for restrooms and be taken there, nice graphics, short cuts, shopping lists, remember where I parked using GPS and voice commands, FastMall does.

Point Inside = 1980 Atari, images/map you cannot read and are not custom and nothing interactive at all. Free and terribly boring.

FastMall = 2010, A true experience and platform with everything I want as an iPhone user. I have an iPhone because I love a great visual and functional experience. That equals FastMall period.

This application rocks! Just to start, I very much dislike going to any mall, but I recently used it for Northpark Center in Dallas via the recommendation of a friend. If you want to save time, I highly recommend downloading this app, it’s worth it!

Hi to all!, i totally agree with Christine on this one… i’ve tried ‘point inside’ after i was using fastmall for king of prussia… i cannot believe how ‘point inside’ call “maps” to the images they show?? i cannot read anything on the maps its full of crowding text all blurry…it seems like an error. anyhow if you compare fastmall to this other one the quality difference is remarkable. I suggest you stick with FastMall and if there is something they don’t have, contact them!, they will reply quickly! just like they did with me with some questions about deals that i’ve had. good luck shopping!.

You really can’t compare this app to Point Inside. It’s like a totally different world! Finding a restroom fast is the coolest feature. And I’ve used it just to see what stores are at a certain mall before going anywhere. Very awesome idea!

After reading this, I decided to check out Point Inside…I’ve already removed the app from my iPhone. I didn’t even bother with taking it into a mall. Just from playing around with it here at home I could tell that FastMall was far more superior.

The maps look like they were just copied from the mall website. I have to actually locate the bathroom on the map and click on it. With FastMall, all I have to do is open it and SHAKE! FastMall also tells me exactly where I need to go, turn by turn.

We will give the team at Point Inside credit, they tried…but FastMall really knocked it out of the park!
