Looftlighter Blows Enough Heat to Melt Mr. Freeze

When I first spotted the Looftlighter I thought it was just a really cool curling iron. Instead, it is actually a  firestarter without the flame. Richard Looft created the Looftlighter out of frustration from barbecued food tasting like lighter fluid. Basically this is a hair dryer on steroids that blows enough extreme heat (about 1000 Fahrenheit and higher) to kick start a fireplace’s logs to go on fire and a BBQ grill’s coals to burn.
