The HP Mini 210 Vivienne Tam Edition Butterfly Lovers debuted a few months ago as part of Tam’s Spring 2010 collection at New York Fashion Week. We instantly fell in love with Vivienne’s “Butterfly Lovers” Design that graced the cover, but we weren’t allowed to peak under the lid until now. Besides being able to see inside the laptop, the specs for the beauty have finally been revealed. The netbook weighs 2.6 pounds, has a built-in web cam, and it’s running HP’s instant-on software (HP QuickWeb) that gives users access to the web, Facebook, Twitter, listening to music, sending emails and chatting, all within seconds – without having to boot into your computer. HP has also partnered with Beats by Dr. Dre to include special high-performance audio software so that users can experience music through headphones or external speakers “the way artists intended them to.”
The HP Mini 210 Vivienne Tam Edition also comes with a “butterfly lovers” desktop theme that includes an animated butterfly start menu, custom Vivienne Tam icons and three wallpapers to coordinate with the design. It looks like a matching micro-fiber suede sleeve is also included in the box.
The HP Mini 210 Vivienne Tam Edition will be available to purchase on March 19th, with a starting price of $599. A matching HP Wireless Mouse will also be available for $39.99.
