BodyTrace eScale is the First GSM Enabled Bathroom Scale

We all thought Withings Connected Body Scale was pretty cool because it transmitted data to your iPhone. But the newly launched BodyTrace eScale ups the ante just a bit by being the world’s first GSM-enabled bathroom scale. Not only is it GSM enabled, but it also works in combination with the company’s website by wirelessly uploading and displaying the user’s weight at the BodyTrace website. The BodyTrace eScale system includes interactive weight and BMI charts, a food diary and intake calculator that provides guidelines on fat, protein, carbs and water intake. They also guarantee that the progress is 100% private; so there is no need to worry about a hacker finding out how fat you really are.
