Quirky’s iPad Lap Desk with a Twist

You know that the iPad has made it really big when they start coming out with lap desks for it. Quirky now has a presale going for the Cradle, an iPad lap desk with a minimalist design constricted from Plyboo (bamboo plywood, a sustainable alternative to wood). The desk  has a special integrated circular plate that lets you easily rotate your iPad between portrait an landscape views. Meanwhile, they have attached a foam cushion with woven covering to the underside of the desk, which is there to give you extra comfort while the desk is resting on your lap.
